Clearly, he felt awful. This was an outcome that he did not predict. Mil-chan was a friend of his whom he had never seen in an annoyed, frustrated, or even saddened state. As such, he felt that it was his duty to comfort the young wizard.

“Can I… have another hug then?” He asked in a hopeful tone, slowly reaching his scrawny arms forward as though to offer her a big hug. She was never down when hold him, and he always knew that her hugs were full of energy and enthusiasm.

✿ - - chopper’s cheerfulness really did warm millianna’s heart. she stood up, walked around to the other side of the table while trying not to make too much of a scene, and wrapped her friend up in a warm embrace. it was true that she had hugged the reindeer a lot recently, but, hey, it was nice to have a friend who you could count on.
