Her smile wasn’t returning. This was getting bad. Even if she said it wasn’t his fault, she wasn’t returning to her ordinary behavior. “U-Uwah! Wait! I’m the one who should apologize!” He replied frantically, bowing his head to Millianna as though trying to apologize in a respectful manner. “You were betrayed by my words! I can’t apologize enough! I’m sorry!”

✿ - - chopper’s frantic voice tugged on the mage’s heartstrings. it did her no good to see her usually-peppy little friend so down like this. inwardly, millianna cursed herself again for overreacting to the whole “cat-noise” situation. 

“ i was never betrayed by you, really! it was just a little overreaction on both of our parts…. ” millianna smiled again, hoping to lift the reindeer’s spirits.
