Chopper’s eyes widened slightly as she hugged him so tightly, not expecting such a surprisingly affectionate gesture from the cat-girl. “Uck!” He grunted before hugging her back, nuzzling his cheek against her own fur-less skin….

Uncertain of whether or not she was kidding, Chopper let out a small chuckle, seeming to imply that he was accepting her words as a joke. “That’s not necessary. If it comes to it, I can just stay at a hotel or continue living in my tent. It’s not like the cold will do anything to me. I’m built for it after all.”

Gazing into her eyes with a warm smile, Chopper placed his hooves softly atop Mil’s cheeks. “Still, I’m really glad that you thought of it! You’re so considerate of me! That’s why you’re my friend, Mil-chan!”

✿ - - millianna was unsure of what the small reindeer said. sure, reindeer were commonly associated with winter, but could chopper really brave all of those cold days in midwinter? even though his words of assurance gave her a bit of comfort, a seed of doubt still lingered in millianna’s mind. 

“ i’m truly glad that i’m your friend, chopper, but are you sure that you’ll be all right? it gets pretty cold around here… and hotels can get expensive!! "
